Based in Grangemouth, they pride themselves in providing innovative solutions and maintaining high standards of professionalism in the Engineering department.Job DescriptionResponsible for maintaining the asset and protective systems integrityElectrical Engineering focal point for the site, day to day operations, breakdowns, Turnaround (TAR) and site Outage events. Identify, define and develop work packages relevant to Electrical Engineering discipline, serving as single point of accountability for identified scopes.In line with above, deliver improvements in plant reliability and defect elimination.Support the maintenance team leader with the implementation of planned maintenance routines.Manage works performed on site by designated Electrical contractorsEnsure all designs, maintenance, modifications and upgrades delivered comply with the clients and International Industry standardsMaintain professional development in the field of Electrical EngineeringThe Successful Applicant· Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent· Chartered Engineer or actively working to achieve chartered status· At least 5 years of technical experience in a technical role (discipline engineering, maintenance management) in Oil and Gas Upstream, Midstream or Downstream environments.· Knowledge and experience of electrical equipment used in explosive atmospheres and in relevant legislation such as ATEX (COMPEX EX01-04, EX12, EX14) and DSEAR.· Knowledge and experience of the design, operation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical power systems.· Knowledge and experience in the operation & commissioning of UPS systems (AC & DC).· Comprehensive understanding and applied knowledge of relevant UK Regulatory and industry standards.· Experience of using Power System modeling & design software (ETAP / Trimble, etc).· BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified.· Full UK driving license.Must be based within a commuting distance to sitePotential for sponsorshipWhat's on OfferA competitive salary of around £65-75kExcellent benefits packageA supportive and professional work environmentOpportunities for professional development in EngineeringThis is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer looking to make a significant impact in a successful organisation.
