Job Description

  • Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiency.
  • Conduct calculations and simulations to verify design integrity and performance.
  • Prepare and review documentation, including design specifications and reports.
  • Liaise with clients to gather requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Work within industry standards and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Identify and propose improvements to enhance design and production processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software for design and modelling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical details.
  • Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of materials, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
  • A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and project goals.
