Job Description

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate data entry into the financial system.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with payment runs, ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to address queries and provide resolution.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance team with month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

  • Experience working within an accounts payable function or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills for supplier and internal interactions.
