Anaplan Finance SME required for a rapid growth Wealth Management firm. This role is pivotal in supporting the FP&A manager. The role require a candidate with Anaplan expertise, who can develop Anaplan for the FP&A team.

A super exciting financial services firm, based in London. The firm has seen exceptional growth over the past five years.

The next phase of their expansion includes the building of the FP&A team and expertise with an Anaplan SME.

This will include model building, system optimisation, data integrity and reporting writing.

Role is based in London.

Job Description

The Anaplan Finance SME will be :

  • Taking responsibility and ownership of Anaplan system and development, including but not limited to continuous improvement and review of existing structures and new development of models in line with reporting requirements.
  • Work with FP&A and other business SMEs on expanding on Anaplan use cases
  • Continuously updating model architecture to ensure alignment with changing business requirements and M&A activities.
  • Engage with IT to integrate data flows from other internal systems (e.g. Data Warehouse) /software (e.g. NetSuite, HiBoB) and Anaplan
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity and user security controls and develop additional measures where necessary.
  • Design UX pages and dashboards aimed at increasing user engagement
  • Design, develop and deliver appropriate training (incl. training documents) to users dependant on their various use cases
  • Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Anaplan Finance SME should have:

  • 3+ years L2/L3 Anaplan Model Builder (Master Anaplanner or Solution Architect preferable) with working practise of financial reporting and forecasting models
  • Working Knowledge of AnaplanXL, ADO, Workflow and other Anaplan tools and connectors
  • Strong Excel and data integration skills; detail-driven and collaborative.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and engaging with stakeholders, vendors, (Oracle NetSuite a plus).
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment
  • Background in FP&A is preferable
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification desirable
  • High attention to detail is vital as is good numerical skills, accuracy and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills, ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Experience within Financial Services sector would be advantageous.
