Job Description

  • Manage the accounts payable function to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Review and reconcile supplier statements to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other finance team members to streamline processes.
  • Support month-end closing activities, including reporting and analysis.
  • Manage the reconciliation process.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Recommend improvements to accounts payable processes where applicable.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Finance Manager - AP should have:

  • Relevant experience in accounts payable within the not-for-profit sector or similar commercial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
