Business Development Manager Southeast

This role focuses on developing new business across the South East while strengthening existing client relationships to drive sustainable revenue growth. You'll work closely with the Head of Sales to shape commercial strategy, manage a healthy pipeline and deliver a high-quality customer experience end to end.

Job Description

* Identify and develop new business opportunities across the South East

* Manage and grow relationships with existing customers and key accounts

* Re-engage dormant accounts and maximise cross-sell and upsell opportunities

* Maintain a strong and active pipeline to support consistent revenue growth

* Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals to customers

* Lead commercial conversations and negotiate terms while protecting margins

* Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience

* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy

* Track performance, forecast accurately and report progress to the Head of Sales

* Meet agreed annual revenue and activity targets

The Successful Applicant

* Proven experience in a field based sales or business development role

* Comfortable managing a territory and organising your own schedule and pipeline

* Able to build relationships quickly and communicate with customers at all levels

* Confident in identifying opportunities, opening doors and winning new business

* Commercially minded, with the ability to negotiate and protect margins

* Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working with autonomy

* Professional, reliable and able to represent the company with credibility and care
