A Leicester-based housing association is seeking a qualified Carpenter/Joiner to carry out maintenance and repairs in occupied social housing across North Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. This is a 3-month temporary contract (with potential to extend), offering up to £24/hour for 37 hours per week, with mileage paid at 45p/mile-own van and minimum Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds required.

Job Description

You'll carry out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in occupied social housing across North Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. From door replacements to kitchen repairs, your craftsmanship will help maintain the quality and comfort of our residents' homes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Own van for travel between jobs (mileage paid at 45p per mile)
  • Minimum Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery
  • Proven experience in domestic maintenance and repair
  • Excellent customer service skills and a respectful approach to working in occupied homes
