Job Description

  • Financial modelling and pricing strategy for bids, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives
  • Translate tender documentation into accurate, persuasive financial workbooks and bid content
  • Collaborate with Business Development and other key internal stakeholders to understand proposed solutions and model the financial workbooks accordingly
  • Documenting pricing assumptions for internal sign off and client submission
  • Communicate agendas and timeframes to ensure relevant approval before submissions
  • Support the Business Development team with weekly investment meetings
  • Support with updating and improving sales workbook models
  • Set and validate target pricing benchmarks and maintain knowledge of bench-marking prices including price to win analysis.
  • Produce final client facing financial returns
  • Contribute to improving costing and pricing efficiency
  • Work with the Business Development Team to create a profitable commercial offer in new business proposals, as well as supplying key competitor analysis.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Bid Finance Manager should have:

  • Experience in management accountants/Commercial finance
  • Working towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
  • Proficiency in MS Excel - financial modelling and analysis tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
