Michael Page Finance is delighted to be partnering with a major FMCG business to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their high-performing Commercial Finance team, based at their Bradford head office.

Job Description

  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support commercial strategies and decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial forecasts.
  • Support analysis of sales, margin and promotional performance across Ambient Non-Food categories.
  • Produce accurate reporting highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Provide insight to Finance Business Partners and Trading teams to support strategic and day-to-day decisions.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes.
  • Help identify performance drivers and make recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in reporting efficiency and analytical capability.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience in financial analysis within a commercial environment.
  • Proven experience business partnering with challenging stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical individual comfortable working with large data sets
  • Team player able to build strong relationships across finance and trading
