About Our Client

Our client is a highly respected and rapidly expanding warehousing and distribution business in the South West. Operating within fast-moving FMCG supply chains and BRCGS-accredited warehousing, they are now seeking a Commercial Logistics Manager to support their continued growth.

This is an exciting and influential position for a commercially astute logistics professional who excels in customer engagement, project delivery, and commercial documentation.

Job Description

As the Commercial Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of customer-facing initiatives, commercial support, and cross-departmental coordination to deliver exceptional service. Key duties include:

  • Leading and coordinating a wide range of customer projects, ensuring timely and high-standard delivery.
  • Building strong, long-term customer relationships to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
  • Analysing data to identify, evaluate, and support new commercial opportunities.
  • Producing high-quality tenders, SLAs, SOPs, brochures, and case studies.
  • Managing contract renewals, pricing reconciliations, and surcharges with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Overseeing customer onboarding and operational setup activities.
  • Conducting customer surveys, responding to feedback, and presenting insights to senior stakeholder



The Successful Applicant

The Commercial Logistics Manager will

  • Demonstrable experience within FMCG logistics and BRCGS warehousing environments from a customer perspective.
  • Strong commercial understanding and project management capabilities.
  • Able to complete Business Tenders and support the sale Team where appropriate
  • Confident, professional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written ability and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to present actionable solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and a structured approach to customer relationship management.
