Job Description

The Commercial Solicitor will be:

  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on a full range of commercial and technology contracts (IT outsourcing, SaaS, licensing, IP)
  • Supporting clients across sectors, delivering pragmatic, commercial legal advice
  • Collaborating with senior colleagues and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Managing transactions and deal processes, including risk assessment, due diligence and contract management
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, helping to grow the firm's tech/commercial portfolio

The Successful Applicant

The Commercial Solicitor should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent, with at least 2-5 PQE in commercial/tech contracts (or similar)
  • Experienced in IT outsourcing, SaaS, licensing or IP-related agreements
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-performing team and managing multiple matters
  • Skilled in drafting, negotiation and client advice, with strong commercial awareness
  • A confident communicator, both internally and externally, with an ability to build client rapport



What's on Offer

Estimate salary from £60,000 upwards plus benefits and hybrid working from Manchester city centre office.
