Job Description

  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and adherence to credit terms.
  • Oversee credit checks and assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and payment statuses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address credit-related issues effectively.
  • Handle escalated cases and assist in recovery of overdue accounts.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department with credit control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Experience in credit control or a similar role within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to manage financial data.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience with big retailers such as Aldi & Lidl are desirable.
  • An organised approach to handle multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of credit policies and industry regulations.
