As a medium-sized company, they are committed to innovation and excellence in their field, offering a professional and structured environment for their employees.Job DescriptionAs the Electrical Team Leader you will be tasked with the following;Working with the Engineering Planner to maximise the use of available resourcesEnsuring that we have all necessary parts, tools and materials needed for work tasksManaging onsite engineering contractor activitiesCo-ordination of Statutory Electrical requirements such as Inspection and Testing, Portable Appliance Testing, Fire Alarms and Emergency Lighting.Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping throughout the workshops.Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding and repairs to power and control systems, plant and equipment.Provide support and resource where needed for Project works.Carry out inspections and audits, giving advice, feedback and support on both engineering quality and safety standards.Promote Lean thinking and actively look for ways to improve efficiencies.Identify future training needs and carry out training for EngineersPromote continuous improvement of energy efficiencyThe Successful ApplicantA successful Electrical Team Leader should have:Time served engineer with experience working in heavy manufacturing, FMCG, Chemical or Food industries (ideally)Strong controls and automation experience with PLC's including maintenance, programming and diagnosticsStrong leadership, communication and motivational skillsExcellent attention to detail with a keen attitude and a positive approachGood exposure to health & safety standardsGood working knowledge of EHSStrong organisational & planning abilitiesPassionate about improvement with knowledge of Lean manufacturingAnalytical, fault finding and problem-solving skillsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £48,700Opportunity to earn bonuses and overtime pay to boost your income.Weekly pay structure for added convenience.Comprehensive training and career development opportunities.Company pension scheme for long-term financial security.Option to become a shareholder through the SIP scheme.If you are an experienced Electrical Team Leader looking for a permanent role in Manchester, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
