The Finance Analyst will support decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis within the industrial and manufacturing sector.This role requires a focus on financial planning, budgeting, and performance management in Nottingham.This is a hybrid position in Nottingham (3 days in the office and 2 from home).

Our client is looking for someone who has completed the first stage of either their CIMA / ACCA Qualification.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to create and monitor budgets.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Support forecasting processes and identify trends and variances.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support with month end.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage financial risks to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to improve processes.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for cost optimisation and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (CIMA / ACCA).
  • AAT Qualified.
  • Local to Nottingham and able to commute to their offices.
  • Experience within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
