Job Description

  • Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support organisational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to manage expenditure effectively.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support audits by coordinating with external auditors and preparing required documentation.
  • Supervise and mentor team members within the accounting and finance function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance: ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector is desirable but not essential.
