Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting and finance department.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support senior management with financial insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A strong background in accounting or finance, ideally within the infrastructure sector
  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
  • Proven ability to manage financial operations and prepare detailed reports.
  • Excellent understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring a finance team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
