Job Description

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning.
  • Monitor and control financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and payroll.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A solid background in accounting and finance within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Professional qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or QBE/equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in preparing financial reports and managing budgets.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
