Job Description

  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Manage month-end and year-end financial processes, including reconciliations.
  • Provide support for audits and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should ideally have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the professional services industry is desirable.
