Job Description

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage the financial accounting team to ensure high performance and accuracy.
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and improve internal controls and financial processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Provide leadership and development opportunities for the accounting team.

The Successful Applicant

  • Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in managing financial operations within the Not For Profit sector is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software.
