Job Description

  • Manage the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning.
  • Oversee cash flow management and financial risk assessment processes.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes for efficiency.
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional qualification in finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proven experience in financial management within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
