Job Description

  • Manage the group consolidation process, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to gather accurate and timely financial data.
  • Analyse consolidation adjustments and provide explanations for key variances.
  • Ensure proper intercompany reconciliations and eliminations are performed.
  • Support the audit process by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Assist with the implementation of process improvements within the consolidation framework.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance as needed to support the team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Consolidations Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Experience with Oracle (preferable).
  • Recent experience within Financial Services.
  • Experience in group consolidations within the accounting and finance field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP standards.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work effectively under time constraints in a temporary role.
