Job Description

  • Manage group financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management accounts.
  • Collaborate with departments to provide financial insights that support strategic goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Ensure efficient cash flow management and optimise working capital.
  • Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.

  • A competitive salary in the range of £65,000 to 70,000, depending on experience.
