Job Description

  • Lead and manage all tax compliance activities, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Oversee tax reporting processes, including preparation and submission of statutory tax filings.
  • Advise on tax implications of business decisions to support strategic planning.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring timely implementation of required adjustments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address tax-related queries and issues.
  • Conduct regular reviews of tax processes to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Support audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the tax team to enhance overall performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Tax Compliance and Reporting should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting or taxation.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax compliance and reporting with listed plc experience.
  • Proven ability to manage complex tax processes effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant tax software and tools.
