Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsWide-ranging Employment Counsel In-house with a globally recognised brand.Working on domestic and international employment law matters.About Our ClientThis position is with a well-established organisation within the Education Sector, head-quartered in London, UK.Job DescriptionYou will be involved in the following Employment law related matters:providing expert legal advice to the HR function and the leadership on employment law matters contracts, policies, disciplinary actions, grievances, redundancies, and restructuresacting as the primary point of contact for HR and leadership on employee relations issuesensuring compliance with evolving employment legislation and workplace regulations.handling employment tribunal claims, negotiate settlements, and liaising with external counsel when necessarydrafting and reviewing employment contracts, handbooks, and workplace policies.identifying potential legal risks in workforce decisions and proposing mitigation strategies.You may also take on work in these other areas of law:drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including in relation to government tendersproviding employment law support on acquisitions, mergers, disposals and investmentsproviding comprehensive, practical and appropriate legal advice on disputes and enforcement, including drafting correspondence in relation to legal claims and settlement agreements.drafting and keeping specific policies and process documents up to date.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will be a Lawyer, qualified in the UK or another Common Law Jurisdiction with previous experience of working in a law firm or in-house legal department working in employment law.
