Job Description

The organisation is currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic HR Officer to join their Human Resources team to provide a comprehensive HR function to the whole organisation.

Reporting to one of the HR Managers, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders, providing comprehensive and professional HR administration support, timely advice, information, and fit for purpose solutions across the full employee life cycle. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting HR processes, including recruitment, on boarding, and employee relations.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and organisational policies.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff and management on HR-related matters.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Processing monthly payroll information and changes
  • Preparing reports and analyse HR data to support decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

The successful HR Officer will have experience of working within a busy HR function and as part of a team, whilst also using own initiative, to provide a quality service. You should have previous exposure of dealing with a high level of administration/coordination including recruitment, payroll and associated queries within changing / tight time frames.

It is essential that you have previously worked with IT applications including Word, Excel and using IT systems such as HR Information Systems; Applicant Tracking Systems and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

What's on Offer

A salary of c.£34,500 (London), c.£30,000 (Durham, Lytham St Anne's and Glasgow), alongside an excellent benefits package including access to join the Civil Service Pension Scheme and a discretionary bonus.
