Job Description

  • Process and manage supplier invoices in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with payment runs and ensure accurate processing of payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding payment queries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounting activities.
  • Assist with any ad hoc finance tasks as required by the accounting and finance team.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Interim Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable role within the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and team members.
