Job Description

The Legal & Compliance Officer / Paralegal will be part of the legal team in Crewe and support on all matters related to legal compliance.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory changes impacting the organisation.
  • Assist in implementing compliance frameworks and procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the legal department on compliance matters.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of compliance activities.
  • Support in preparing reports for regulatory bodies as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of compliance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal & Compliance Officer / Paralegal should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in law, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data protection, corporate compliance (ABC, modern slavery etc).
  • Proven experience in compliance or legal roles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex regulatory information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
