Job Description

  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all engineering activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members when required.

The Successful Applicant

  • A relevant qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • An understanding of health and safety practices in an engineering environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
