The business are a global supplier of products, operating in a fast paced manufacturing plant in Manchester and across the UK.Job DescriptionAs the Maintenance Team Leader you will be tasked with the following;Supervise and co-ordinate maintenance activities across the site and off-site quarryIdentify and suggest improvements to the manufacturing and quality processesCarry out all planned preventative maintenance as requestedAssist with the installation of new plant equipmentPromote Lean thinking and actively look for ways to improve efficienciesCarry out factory inspections, giving advice and support to production operatives and other personnel as relevantMonitoring quality from raw material to finished goodsEnsure all new starters are efficiently inducted and trainedProvide emergency maintenance cover when requiredThe Successful ApplicantA successful Maintenance Team Leader should have:Preferably you will be apprentice trained, but with a minimum level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline.
