Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for key stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insightful commentary to support decision-making.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance team with month-end and year-end processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and monitor cash flow to maintain financial stability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Professional qualifications or part-qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis within the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
