The Management Accountant will be responsible for producing monthly UK and Group management accounts, consolidating international subsidiary data, and supporting financial reporting and forecasting. This Milton Keynes-based role reports to the Group Financial Controller and plays a key part in audit preparation, intercompany reconciliations, and cross-departmental financial support.

Job Description

  • Produce monthly UK management accounts and consolidate Group international accounts.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Prepare Group reporting packs and lead year-end audit processes.
  • Manage intercompany accounts and ensure accurate reconciliations.
  • Support internal departments with financial insights and reporting.
  • Prepare cash forecasts and sales reports to aid strategic planning.
  • Provide cover across finance functions during absence periods.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support ad hoc financial projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA status with strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Experience in producing management accounts and working in an international finance environment.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes and support wider business goals.
