Job Description

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to ensure financial stability.
  • Oversee reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support internal stakeholders with financial reporting and analysis as required.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Provide support during audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in management accounting within the business services industry.

  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
