Job Description

Management Accountant responsibilities include;

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
  • Business partnering with cost centre managers to oversee budgets, cost, P&L to drive performance
  • Annual Budget preparation
  • Monthly forecast process, daily reporting & Target tracking
  • Manage cashflow forecasting and reporting
  • Produce headcount and payroll reports
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit completion
  • Control expenditure versus budget/forecast
  • Assist in the completion of annual stocktakes
  • Complete analysis, journal preparation and entry of monthly reports
  • Support the annual Standard Costing process

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant will have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively. A formal qualification (CIMA / ACCA/ ACA)
  • Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient IT skills - MS Excel
