We are looking for a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a thriving retail business in Bristol. This role focuses on month-end management accounts, preparing reports, finance business partnering, FP&A and continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and wider business to streamline processes.
  • Ensure timely reporting to key stakeholders in the retail sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Sage 200 and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Experience within the retail industry is advantageous.
