Job Description

  • Coordinate material scheduling to ensure optimal inventory levels and availability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain effective communication and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor stock levels and implement adjustments as required to meet production demands.
  • Work closely with the procurement and supply chain teams to optimise processes.
  • Analyse data to forecast material requirements and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on stock and supply chain performance.
  • Address and resolve any material supply issues promptly and effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Materials Scheduler should have:

  • A background in procurement, supply chain, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage material scheduling effectively.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
