Identify opportunities for material substitution, design simplification, and process improvements.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Quality teams to deliver cost-saving initiatives across EMEA. Lead workshops to generate innovative ideas for product and process optimisation and manage value engineering projects from concept to implementation.Supplier & Market EngagementWork with global and regional suppliers to source alternative components and materials that meet performance and sustainability standards. Benchmark industry best practices and emerging technologies for valve systems.Data Analysis & ReportingPerform cost-benefit analyses and present actionable insights to stakeholders. Monitor and report savings achieved through value engineering projects.Compliance & SustainabilityEnsure all changes comply with international standards, safety regulations, and sustainability objectives. Support initiatives that reduce environmental impact through material efficiency and lifecycle optimisation.The Successful ApplicantThe successful applicant:EducationA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience3-5 years in engineering, product development, or cost optimisation, ideally within fluid control or valve technology. Exposure to manufacturing and supply chain environments is highly desirable.Technical ExpertiseSkilled in CAD tools and cost analysis software, with a solid understanding of valve design, materials, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with relevant legislation and industry standards is essential.Key AttributesExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
