The position will carry out in house repairs and provide rapid response to equipment breakdowns requiring welding, fabrication or machiningThe main objective of this role is to reduce reliance on external contractors by bringing morerepairs and fabrication in house, while improving response times to breakdowns. The engineer will be expected to create CAD drawings for reference and future use and to machine parts which can be put into stockMonitor and Maintain Standards: Regularly monitor the performance of equipment and address any deviations from required standards to prevent quality issues in production.Oversee and maintain various systems, including tortilla lines, chips lines, packaging equipment, silos, pumps, mixers, and electrical components.
