We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a dynamic engineering team in Leeds. This role involves maintaining and improving complex production machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • The salary for this role is £54k + on call allowance.
  • The shift pattern is a 4 week rotation of mornings, afters, nights, and days.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on bespoke printing and finishing machinery.
  • Provide technical support to the production department and assist with process improvements.
  • Participate in the development of new equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Work within a rotating shift pattern, including early, late, and night shifts, plus weekend call-out duties.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Multi-Skilled Engineer should have:

  • Holds an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); 18th Edition preferred.
  • Experienced in a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of PLC control and variable speed motor controllers.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving ability, initiative, and a commitment to maintaining production.
  • Flexible and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Advantageous experience includes print machinery, Siemens/Mitsubishi controllers, project management, machine building, CAD electrical drawings, and PUWER risk assessments.
