Job Description

The duties of the Payments Analyst include:

  • Accurately processing incoming and outgoing payment instructions in line with client expectations and internal controls.
  • Developing relationships with external counterparties and resolving queries promptly.
  • Learning and managing diverse payment workflows, including SEPA, SWIFT, CHAPS, and FPS.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth transaction execution and operational alignment.
  • Identifying and proposing system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
  • Supporting automation and efficiency initiatives and participating in cross-functional projects.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Payments Analyst candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in financial services, preferably in a fintech or fast-paced operational environment, with a solid understanding of payment rails. They will be detail-oriented, methodical, and proactive, with strong time management, communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
