Job Description

  • Manage and oversee payroll systems to ensure smooth and accurate operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant public sector policies and regulations.
  • Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to address payroll-related queries.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on payroll system issues.
  • Prepare and present payroll reports for management review.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.
  • Support system upgrades and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Systems Lead should have:

  • Proven experience in payroll systems (Oracle Fusion) within the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting & finance principles.
  • Technical expertise in payroll software and systems.
  • Ability to analyse and improve payroll processes effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
