Job Description

  • Manage procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies in alignment with company objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management regarding procurement activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the financial services industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • CIPS level 4 is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • A professional qualification in procurement or a related field is desirable.
