Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
  • Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues proactively.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
  • Support the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices within the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
  • CIPS level 4 is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficiency in analysing market trends and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Familiarity with procurement compliance and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools.
