Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsProduction Manager opportunity at a South Sheffield based manufacturerIdeal for a hands-on leader who will take ownership of day-to-day productionAbout Our ClientMy client is a well-established UK business who design, manufacture and supply an exceptional range of products to a variety of regulated industries.Due to their continued success they are looking to bring an enthusiastic and passionate Production Manager into their business, and aid in strengthening their existing team.This appointment will be pivotal in ensuring day-to-day manufacturing operations run smoothly and would best suit someone with a hands-on approach and an motivational mindset.Job DescriptionEnsuring production targets are achieved on a daily and weekly basis, and working alongside supply chain on the production plan, in order to hit the desired revenue target.Promoting and supporting continuous improvements and company best practice.Acting as a member of the leadership team, developing the people within the team to excel and reach their potential.Developing and improving key metrics such as OEE, safety, quality, OTD and profitability through successful review of data.Positively driving behaviours to ensure employee engagement.Driving initiatives to deliver manufacturing excellence across systems, procedures, policies and standards.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Production Manager will have:Proven experience as a Production/Manufacturing Manager with time-served in a similar or more junior role within production.
