Job Description

  • Managing a varied caseload including purchases, sales, leasing and banking matters.
  • Advising commercial and individual clients, ensuring technical excellence and practical, commercially-focused guidance.
  • Drafting and negotiating missives, leases and wider commercial property documents.
  • Handling title examination, reporting, registrations, LBTT returns and completions.
  • Supporting business development through networking, client relationships and departmental initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Real Estate Solicitor should have:

  • Qualified as a solicitor in Scotland.
  • Technically strong with the ability to manage a varied and sometimes complex caseload.
  • Commercially aware with excellent client-handling skills and strong communication.
  • Proactive, organised and motivated, with an interest in developing long-term client relationships.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
