Job Description

As a Rents and Service Charge Officer duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the calculation and administration of rents and service charges.
  • Prepare monthly lease payment schedules
  • Calculating annual rent increases
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate rent and service charge statements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of payments and adjustments.
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting for rents and service charges.
  • Provide detailed reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Respond to queries from tenants and stakeholders in a timely manner.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Rents and Service Charge Officer should have:

  • A background in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
  • Experience in managing rents and service charges.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • An ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with tenants and stakeholders.
