Job Description

Joining as a Senior Accountant - Professional Practices based in their Exeter offices you will act for wide ranging legal firms and have a hands on role preparing and reviewing the completion of statutory annual accounts for both limited companies and limited liability partnerships, along with associated tax computations. There is opportunity for involvement in SAR and increasing involvement in advisory project work, identifying areas for tax planning and accounting advisory work with your clients. You will progress within this growing team and sector of the business with excellent prospects for career progression for career focused professionals.

The Successful Applicant

For this Senior Accountant - Professional Practices role you may be any of part qualified, finalist or qualified ACA/ACCA, with up to one to years or more post qualified experience. You will have developed your career within accountancy practice over the last three years or more, working within a firm of accountants of any size preparing year end accounts, tax returns and other services. Whilst experience of dealing with solicitors/legal profession sector clients would be advantageous, professionals only experienced with wider industry sector client backgrounds, outside of the legal profession are equally of interest. You will be looking for a career move with scope to progress and develop within your career post qualification with increasing responsibility, client contact and technical progression on offer.
