Senior ER lead

We are seeking an experienced ER Lead to oversee employee relations within the hospitality industry. This role in London requires expertise in managing ER cases - running complex cases end to end, managing them through to tribunals, supporting managing 2x ER advisors and being part of the HR leadership team.

Job Description

  • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Manage complex casework, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Support with cases from initiation through to tribunal
  • Support more junior team members with upskilling and learning
  • Develop and implement HR policies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Support managers with guidance on performance management and workplace disputes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent application of HR practices.
  • Monitor and report on employee relations trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Deliver training to managers on HR policies and employee relations best practices.
  • Ensure all processes are documented and compliant with legal requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ER Lead should have:

  • Proven experience in employee relations within Human Resources.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and its practical application.
  • Ability to handle complex casework with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies.
  • Capability to provide training and guidance to managers.
