Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsJoin a highly reputable professional services firm that have large operationsGreat opportunity to take further ownership of payrolls and develop your careerAbout Our ClientOur clientGlobal accountancy firm with locations across the globeFantastic team culture and environmentOffering 50% hybrid workingGrowing firmJob Description Senior PayrollerResponsible for the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of small to medium-sized client payrolls, including Real Time Information (RTI) submissions and year-end processes.Managing payrolls across multiple frequencies: weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, with varying levels of complexity.Applying knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance Contributions (NIC), and statutory absence payments such as SMP, SAP, SPP, SHPP, SPBP, and SSP.Processing employee and employer pension contributions and submitting data to pension providers for multiple types of pension schemes.Handling payrolled benefits in kind (BIKs), salary sacrifice schemes, flexible benefits, and equity-related plans such as stocks, shares, and ESPP.Staying up to date with payroll legislation and compliance requirements.Liaising with HMRC as needed for payroll-related matters.Using initiative to resolve issues and provide support to team members where possible.The Successful ApplicantSenior Payroller:Ideally 5+ years within a professional services environment processing end to end payrollKnowledge and exposure to manual processes to SMP, SPP, SSP etc.Auto-enrolment knowledge of rules and regulationsCustomer focusedExcellent attention to detail and proactiveStrong team player as well as carrying the ability to work independentlyHappy to commute to the office 5 days per week within the first 3 months for integration, on boarding and support then 50% in the office (W. Berkshire office location!) Due to office location, having access to car and ability to drive is highly preferredWhat's on OfferSenior PayrollerCompetitive salary range: Ranging from £38,000 per annum + benefits25 days holiday + Bank HolidayOffice-based for the first three months, then 50% in the office thereafterAdjustable start and finish times dependent on external needPermanent position - 37.5 hours per weekOpportunity to work in a supportive teamW.
