Job Description

We are seeking a UK Country Manager to take full commercial and leadership responsibility for a £10m business operating across two sites. This is a pivotal sales leadership role focused on driving sustainable revenue growth through structured management, commercial strategy, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a large internal sales and business development function (30+ staff) across two UK sites.
  • Define and execute growth strategies to expand market share and profitability across target sectors.
  • Drive performance management, coaching, and structured sales processes across teams.
  • Oversee key customer relationships while empowering teams to deliver exceptional service and results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, design, and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Develop clear KPIs, sales forecasting, and business reporting to the senior leadership team.
  • Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to fuel long-term growth.



The Successful Applicant

A successful UK Country Director should have:

  • Proven track record in sales leadership or general management within a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth through structured leadership and process improvement.
  • Strong people manager - able to develop, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and operational awareness.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and organisational skills.
  • French language skills - highly desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in battery technology, energy storage, or related technical markets - advantageous but not required.
