I'm looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support a busy finance credit control team with tasks including payment reconciliation, invoice processing, and account maintenance. This hybrid role is ideal for someone highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working with financial systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • 1 day a week in the office (Busier periods you'll go in more)
  • 3 months temporary before going permanent if successful.

Job Description

  • Support the finance credit control team with daily financial operations
  • Reconcile incoming payments and monitor unpaid fees
  • Raise and issue various types of invoices and credit schedules
  • Maintain and update internal account systems and CRM
  • Assist with direct debit setup and monitoring
  • Handle client communications and respond to queries professionally
  • Support other teams within the accounts department as needed
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment

What's on Offer

  • Hybrid working: 1 day in the office, 4 days working from home (after training)
  • Full-time, if temp assignment successful, you'll become permanent.
  • Annual salary equivalent between £26,000 - £28,000, depending on experience
